Moog Aircraft Group has opened its new facilities at the prestigious i54 development site near Wolverhampton.
Moog Business Unit General Manager Stuart Mclachlan, who is also a Midlands Aerospace Alliance director, says: "this is a key strategic move for Moog, and this world class facility will allow the business to support and grow our market leading position in actuation systems.”

Moog in Wolverhampton contributes its world-leading flight control technologies to global aircraft programmes including Boeing's 787 and China's COMAC C919 as well as several military aircraft.
Moog moved into the new facilities from its previous location, the nearby -- and Second World War era - former Boulton Paul/ Dowty/ Smiths Aerospace/ GE Aviation factory. The £20m investment represent a strong commitment to the Midlands and the current workforce of 430 as Moog Aircraft Group reorganises product engineering and manufacturing of both civil and defence work at the global scale across its sites in the USA, UK and Philippines.
