The Midlands Aerospace Alliance is above all a network. Not surprisingly, the MAA is part of other networks that we learn from and work with for the benefit of our members.
We meet regularly and coordinate our activities with the other UK regional aerospace alliances -- Aerospace Wales, Farnborough Aerospace Consortium, North West Aerospace Alliance, West of England Aerospace Forum -- as well as the national aerospace and defence organisation ADS.
We also work closely with cluster bodies supporting other business sectors in the Midlands, such as The Rail Alliance, Rail Forum East Midlands, The Motorsport Industry Association and Medilink.
The MAA is a member of the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) along with more than forty aerospace clusters from 14 countries -- both within and outside the European Union.
We are also an associate member of France Clusters, a network of 400 cluster bodies covering all economic sectors.
We always welcome opportunities to link up with aerospace clusters from around the world, such as our friends from Connecticut in the United States with whom we share much in common.
