Intelligent Energy (IE) is a leader in the development and manufacture of hydrogen fuel cells - from 800W to multi-megawatt - that overcome the limitations of conventional battery and internal combustion systems. IE has been a pioneer in hydrogen fuel cell propulsion for aero applications since 2005, powering the first manned fuel cell flight with Boeing (2008) then with the ENFICA consortium (2011). IE is also involved in the H2GEAR programme and supplies fuel cell products to global UAV markets.
