Join us for our first virtual MAA Members Meeting - a great new way to join your industry colleagues
Working capital and cash
We will be welcoming Lee Swinerd and Glynn Bellamy from KPMG to discuss their expert forecasts for our industry in 2021 and how we are going to address the widely predicted gaps in working capital and cash in the supply chain.
Latest aerospace news
We will be reviewing the aerospace and aviation news of the last month with MAA Chief Executive Andrew Mair, and interpreting what it means for MAA members and the Midlands aerospace industry.
What help should the MAA be asking government for?
We now have two excellent lines of communication open: 1) through our affiliation to Make UK, and 2) working closely with West Midlands Mayor Andy Street who is corresponding directly with the BEIS Secretary of State Kwasi Kwateng on behalf of the aerospace supply chain in the Midlands region. So let's use this opportunity well!
More on the new events
We devoted most Thursday mornings during 2020 to Aerospace UP Hour, which brought our community together regularly during months of huge uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, the start of 2021 will mark an evolution in our events.
Aerospace UP hour will continue on some Thursday mornings, focused on the Aerospace UP programme for Midlands aerospace suppliers, and all things innovation, technology, R&D funding, the University of Nottingham (and other universities), the Manufacturing Technology Centre (and other Catapult Centres). Aerospace UP hour will continue to be free and welcome all participants.
Meanwhile, new MAA Members Meetings, in the same slot other weeks, will focus on all the business requirements of MAA members. Aerospace UP Hour's regular update on world, UK and regional aerospace industry news and forecasts, and its invitations to VIP guests from industry, will migrate across to the MAA Members Meetings.
We look forward to seeing you there!
This event is for MAA members. Costs below for non-members.

Come along with your coffee! Arrive five minutes early if you can -- like a "real" meeting -- to help us start on time. In fact, feel free to join from 11:15 onwards to say hello.
You’ll be able to send us your questions and comments and network with other participants during the meeting. We often stay behind for 15 minutes more discussion and networking, just like a normal meeting -- all are welcome! (All that's missing is the biscuits!)
