UTC Aerospace Systems is to take a ten year lease for new office space in Solihull. The lease is for the whole of the building FORE 1. The move consolidates more than 150 staff from three local offices. UTC will use the FORE 1 building for a combination of research and technology activities, finance services and to house corporate staff.

UTC Aerospace Systems is a major global supplier of aerospace and defence products, with its major UK operations in Wolverhampton, also in the Midlands.
Gareth Morris, VP & general manager for UTC Aerospace Systems, Motor Drive Systems Centre, said
“We are really pleased to be moving to a building that will provide an excellent environment for our employees and our research activities.
“This new facility will provide a showcase for customer visits and should support future growth.”
