We all know how critical effective leadership is to success, so the MAA has designed a powerful solution to address the challenges many face in developing functional managers, department heads, and those in influential roles.
Mentorship+ is an innovative six-month programme designed to empower aerospace leaders. Designed by our Manufacturing Specialist, Tim Holmes, a Chartered Fellow with over 30 years of experience and a track record of supporting 150+ businesses, with 50 achieving national awards, Tim has crafted a dynamic agenda that combines:
- Collaborative Learning: Your managers will work alongside peers from other businesses, tackling real-world challenges together.
- Best Practice: A blend of training, workshops, and site visits to master the tools and techniques needed for everyday success.
- Comprehensive Support: Participants benefit from 6 in-person events and 6 individual mentor sessions
Supplemented by ongoing support, access to the MAA's team of experts, and a practical peer to peer network.

Mentorship+ enables participants to set personal goals and address local business challenges, supported by core modules focusing on:

- Strategy implementation: Delivering objectives and structured planning
- Daily operations: Meeting cascades, visual planning, and monitoring performance
- Continuous improvement: Applying Lean Six Sigma tools, running projects, with a bias for action
- Managing people: Building effective teams, developing talent, and managing performance
- High Performance Culture: Motivation, behaviours, and leading by example
