We are very proud to announce that our ongoing support for the armed forces community has been recognised with the Silver Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
The ERS, operated by the Ministry of Defence, encourages employers to cultivate an armed forces-friendly environment. This silver-level certification highlights our steadfast commitment to defence professionals, their families, and the broader armed forces community.
This recognition reaffirms the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant, a voluntary commitment tailored to our business. The Covenant promotes our support for the armed forces, our employment of service leavers, and our commitment to aid service leavers, veterans, and their families.
Chairman Jonathan Lee commented: “We are delighted to have been selected for the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award. Having held a bronze award since 2019, we felt it was the right time to strive for silver.

Aerospace & Defence recruitment expert Peter Heap, is just one such Jonathan Lee employee who is an ex-service professional.
A 20 year plus veteran of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), Pete is Jonathan Lee’s Armed Forces Champion and he, alongside Marketing Business Partner, Steven Franklin, has been instrumental in ensuring we achieve silver status.
