Environmental challenges for the aerospace supply chain

08:00 - 13:00, Aerospace Technology Centre, Nottingham

8:00 - 13:00, Aerospace Technology Centre, Nottingham

Many aerospace technology targets, nationally and at EU level, are focused on environmental issues. This event features presentations by several key aerospace companies discussing what their key technology objectives are, how they intend to fulfil them and how their supply chains can participate. In particular, much of the focus will be on updates and progress reports on the more electric aircraft, engine and systems technology programmes currently underway ready for new aircraft programmes.

It will also feature a timely update by Rolls-Royce on the REACH programme so important to the whole of the aerospace supply chain.

As well as hearing presentations from prime and Tier 1 companies, we also have speakers from Midlands manufacturing companies who will discuss how they are participating in these programmes and preparing for these inevitable new technologies and regulations.

This event is being held at the prestigious, newly opened Aerospace Technology Centre on the University of Nottingham, a dedicated research and knowledge transfer centre on University of Nottingham Innovation Park and supported by the East Midlands Transport iNet which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
