Do you know how your peers are staying ahead of changing requirements? If not, Book Now to attend our free in-person event and learn all you need to know - last few places remaining!

Joining instructions have now been sent out - if you have booked but not received them, please check your spam or email us pamela.farries@midlandsaerospace.org.uk.

Since January, the MAA has been coordinating a group of leading aerospace manufacturers to plan how the Midlands aerospace companies can achieve ambitious emissions reduction targets while remaining globally competitive. As part of the IUK DESNZ* Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plans: Decarbonising the Midlands Aerospace Cluster (DMAC) is working on your behalf to understand this rapidly developing landscape and on the 11th of July at the AMTC, Coventry we’ll be sharing all we’ve learned to date.

Gain practical advice on how decarbonisation is affecting the Midlands aerospace sector and learn if you’re ready for incoming legislation, demands from customers, and how other companies are preparing early without incurring high costs to their businesses. The agenda will cover;

  • Expectations from Tier 1s and Primes: Understand what leading companies now seem likely to require from the supply chain - Rolls-Royce, Collins Aerospace
  • Legislative Trends and Emissions Reporting: Learn about the immediate impacts of the latest UK and international (affecting exports) legislation and upcoming requirements and their implications for your business - WMG & MAA
  • Case Studies: Learn best practices from fellow members of the supply chain to optimise your own decarbonization efforts - Arrowsmith, G&O Springs, Technoset
  • Support, funding and Implementation: Access on-the-day clinics offering support to help you implement decarbonisation initiatives and find funding - Coventry City Council, WMCA, IUK, MAA, Unipart, Business Energy Advice Service, WMG
  • Get involved! Collaborate on measuring and abating emissions by contributing your figures to the Midlands baseline calculation.

For any queries about the event or if you have difficulties registering, please contact Pamela Farries pamela.farries@midlandsaerospace.org.uk

The DMAC study is being funded by DESNZ and IUK.
