A conference for LEPs and Devolved Administrations
Woodland Grange, Leamington Spa, CV32 6RN
The Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP), a strategic partnership between government and industry, would like to invite Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and Devolved Administrations to discuss how best we can all work together and better understand the UK’s aerospace priorities at a national and local level and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Estimates from the two major aircraft manufacturers, Airbus and Boeing, state that over the next 20 years the global civil aviation market will be worth over $5.5trillion. Currently, the UK is second in the world in this market – AGP’s focus is to secure this position.
Aerospace manufacturing activities in the UK contribute £31bn to the economy and employ 280,000 people directly and indirectly. AGP wants to build on this by creating conditions that encourage investment and delivers high value jobs to all parts of the UK.
AGP would like to explain its activities and priorities and discuss with you how these align with activities under way or being considered by LEPs and Devolved Administrations and how we might better work together.
