Forty companies from right across the aerospace industry joined us for our popular Inside ITP Aero event in Nottinghamshire recently.
The fully-booked event offered attendees the exclusive opportunity to meet senior executives and gain valuable insights from this leading aerospace company.
During the event, there were a variety of in-depth presentations from the senior leadership team. We were first given insights into the journey that ITP Aero’s site in Hucknall went on after becoming independent from Rolls-Royce as well as the proud heritage which stretches back to Frank Whittle’s Power Jets company.
We were then given insights into ITP Aero’s focuses today including products, capabilities, customers, procurement and the supply chain as well as the company's ambitions around sustainability which includes goals around the carbon footprint of the manufacturing sites and supply chain.
In addition, we explored the technology challenges that the aerospace industry faces and some of the projects the company is engaged in to solve them.
Throughout the day, there were opportunities to network and guests also enjoyed a tour of the impressive site.
