Get introduced to French aerospace buyers with the MAA and UKTI

Organised Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings are an excellent way for supply chain companies to gain access to buyers in major aerospace corporations. We all know how difficult it can be to get your foot in the door and that an event of this kind can provide vital new introductions. Last year’s joint MAA-UKTI B2B event with Safran at the British Embassy in Paris was proof of just how much can be achieved. 

This year's innovation: B2B with Aerolia and Safran from your office

On 26 March 2013 the UKTI team at the British Embassy in Paris will be organising a special B2B for MAA members in a new way. The buyers from major French aerospace companies Aerolia (EADS-owned French aerostructures specialist similar to GKN's aerostructures group) and Safran (French aerospace giant includes Snecma, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, Aircelle, Hispano-Suiza, Labinal, Sagem), will come into the Embassy and take their pre-arranged meetings with you by video-conference link.

  • You take part directly from your own PC without having to spend the time and expense involved in travelling to Paris. 
  • The day will start with a webinar where Safran and Aerolia will present their companies and procurement strategies. 
  • This will be followed by an individual programme of meetings for your company. 
  • All you need is a PC, a webcam (and preferably a headset).

With great capacity pressure on aerospace supply chains in France to deliver, French aerospace companies are looking to secure new potential capacity so the time is right, and this is a great opportunity to start to engage before the Paris Air Show in June.

After you register, below, the MAA will direct you to the special website for this event where you will provide full details of your company and its products and services. The MAA and UKTI are working with an experienced B2B organisation to ensure that the matchmaking, and the logistics for the video links, are handled professionally.

Registration rates

We would like to be able to provide this kind of service to our members at no cost, but there are inevitable costs accrued especially in France to ensure the day is as successful as possible. We have therefore kept the registration rates as low as possible -- and of course you will not have to pay for travel and accommodation nor spend so long out of the office compared to face-to-face meetings.
