This event will familiarise you with manufacturing technologies being developed at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) by key partners such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Aero Engine Controls.
The day focuses on:
- high integrity fabrication techniques (morning session: keynote speaker Steve Beech, Rolls-Royce Global Process Owner Joining)
- manufacturing automation (afternoon session featuring Gary Ottley, Joint Managing Director of Gudel UK)
We also have speakers from Midlands manufacturing companies who will discuss their manufacturing capabilities and where they these key technology themes going in the future. And there will also be a chance to hear more about the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) and to take a tour of the MTC facility.

- This event will be participative with attendees encouraged to promote and share capabilities in an interactive workshop environment.
- Attendees are also encouraged to book a free-of-charge literature display table to promote their capabilities throughout the day.
- The MAA will use the information from the day to promote and publicise attendees' capabilities in future publications.
