Decarbonising the Midlands Aerospace Cluster (DMAC) - Launch

Online

DMAC Launch Information

Online launch briefing

Get on board with decarbonising the Midlands Aerospace cluster!

Join us online to hear how the MAA and six leading Midlands aerospace suppliers (ITP Aero, Collins Aerospace, Arrowsmith, G&O Springs, Technoset and Helix) are working on this UK Government Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) funded study to develop a plan for achieving net zero business operations by 2050.

This is the first in a series of events where the project team will regularly share what we have learned and strategies with the wider Midlands aerospace cluster as a practical guide other companies can follow with confidence. This briefing will also inform regional and national government bodies, academia and sustainability networks on the most effective ways to get behind the plans.

Learn about the opportunities for involvement with;
- Baselining
- Development of potential solutions assessed for technical and commercial challenge
- Targets for a phased strategy and emissions reduction plan
- Joining in research and decarbonisation efforts
