This week's agenda . . . overcoming barriers to digitalisation in aerospace supply chains
-
Sharing the experience of a technology provider, with Rob Hamer, Business Development Manager for Aerospace, High Value Manufacturing Catapult, and South West of the UK at Beckhoff Automation
-
Lessons from the project Connected Factories: Pathways to Digitalisation of Manufacturing, with Jack Chaplin, Senior Research Fellow, University of Nottingham.
-
Funding support and expertise available from the Aerospace UP programme for your digitalisation project
The new series of Aerospace UP hour will focus on innovation and technology related subjects: R&D, funding, sustainable aviation, additive manufacturing, electrification, specialist composites, Industry 4.0, what help companies can get from the University of Nottingham and other research and technology bodies . . .
The review of industry news, fireside chats with regional companies and VIPs, market forecasts, discussions of strategies for responding to the COVID-19 crisis -- that kind of information and discussion is migrating over to the new series of MAA members meetings; the second of which is on 4 March -- click here to book.
Come along with your coffee! Arrive five minutes early if you can -- like a "real" meeting -- to help us start on time. In fact, feel free to join from 11:15 onwards to say hello.
You’ll be able to send us your questions and comments and network with other participants during the meeting.
And, although the meeting is nominally an hour, we often stay behind for 15 minutes more discussion and networking, just like a normal meeting -- all are welcome!
(All that's missing is the biscuits!)
