Brought to you by MAA and University of Nottingham
Our fifteenth "Aerospace Up! hour" is on Thursday 17 September, 11:30-12:30 BST.
Please register below.
You will be able to join this virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams. You can register right up to the start of the meeting. We will then send you a link to join.
(if you don't have Teams, you don't need special software, or to download anything, you will be able to join on the web in a couple of clicks; for any issues email pamela.farries@midlandsaerospace.org.uk)
Agenda:
We have four items on our agenda this week:
- Latest aerospace industry news and impact on Midlands.
- What messages do you think smaller lower-tier suppliers should be giving to larger aerospace customers -- so we can work together to improve the performance of the supply chain as a whole (continuation of the discussion started last week)?
- How to get funding and expert support for your business innovation from the ATI (Aerospace Technology Institute) Boeing Accelerator (applications close 27 Sept)
- Why you should participate in Aerospace UP's new workshop series Driving Innovation in the Workplace through Lean Six Sigma (starts in Oct)
Come along with your coffee! Arrive five minutes early if you can -- like a "real" meeting -- to help us start on time. In fact, feel free to join from 11:15 onwards to say hello.
You’ll be able to send us your questions and comments during the meeting.
And, although the meeting is nominally an hour, we often stay behind for 15 minutes more discussion and networking, just like a normal meeting -- all are welcome!
(All that's missing is the biscuits!)
