This week's agenda . . . insights into setting up an additive manufacturing cell, building confidence and productionising manufacture, in discussion with

  • Cameron Ross, Engineering Director, Group Advanced Manufacturing, Meggitt

  • Steve McCarthy, Managing Director and Principal Technical Engineer, Mackart Additive

  • Nigel Robinson (COO), Stuart Banyard & colleagues at the Digital Manufacturing Centre, Silverstone

Join this online meeting to hear from 3 very different companies setting up and growing their Additive Manufacturing capabilities and building viable businesses.

Building confidence in additive manufacturing starts with the fundamentals of the base materials and processes, grows through application and repetition of techniques and close cooperation between suppliers and customers. We will tour the DMC set up live and discuss the staged growth plans towards a sustainable business from all of our contributors as we go.

Find out where AM is likely to be going for different types of business including yours & gain insights into the decision making processes.

More about the meeting

Join us online with your coffee! Logon early if you can -- like a "real" meeting -- to help us start on time. In fact, feel free to join a few minutes early to say hello to our online moderators.

You’ll be able to send us your questions and comments and network with other participants during the meeting. To help this live session along, do send in questions for our presenters ahead of the meeting to andrew.mair@midlandsaerospace.org.uk.

Our panel will answer questions towards the end of the 90 minute session and we often stay behind for 15 minutes more discussion and networking, just like a normal meeting -- all are welcome!
