Are you ready for AS9100:2016?
From 1st March all certified organisations should provide their certification bodies with their intention to transition and from June all future audits must be to the 2016 standard. AS9100:2016 continues the trend towards meeting customer's increasing expectations in regards to quality and reliability within the aerospace and defence sector. AS9100 is increasingly more important as a method of ensuring consistent quality and reliability throughout the supply chain. Kiwa are an internationally recognised certification body (UNAVIAcert), who are leveraging their global expertise into the UK aerospace and defence market and are kindly supporting their fellow MAA members by providing the resources for this training.
This intense one day workshop focuses on AS9100:2016 (D) and is aimed at helping you understand the transition process, the standard's requirements along with the perspective of Kiwa an internationally recognised certification body and is aimed at quality representatives, business managers and management representatives responsible for development, implementation or continued compliance against AS9100. Delegates should have an understanding and working knowledge of aerospace quality management systems (from manufacturing, service, research or the laboratory environment). Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. David Burns will be conducting the training, with over 20 years' experience in consultancy and training both within the UK and internationally, he is considered to be a true practitioner from the aerospace and defence engineering sector.
In summary, the course sessions include:
- Explaining the AS9100:2016 requirements

The course tutor catered well for the different subject matter experience of the delegates."
