After JJX Logistics were approached by a world leading chemical company to store and distribute a mixture of hazardous and non-hazardous pallets throughout the UK and Europe they had to find an alternative warehouse facility. They have now moved on to the Pensnett Trading Estate based in Kingswinford, West Midlands. The new facility is 21,400sqft and is capable of holding 2,200 pallets. They will decant between 10-15 containers per month and storing an average of 1,500 pallets at any given time.
Their warehouse management system will control the fulfilment with real-time management of activities and consumption, Multi-Channel order processing with automated EDI, kitting and item configuration. Inbound and outbound serial tracking, pick planning, consolidated picking, order pack-out, cross-docking, carton packing, RFID, and manifesting interfaces. Along with returns sortation and waste management it's a fantastic system that provides a fully traceable solution.
