Rate, risk and resilience in the aerospace supply chain: how can we do better?

MAA members meeting at Gowling WLG, central Birmingham (B4 6WR)

This event is now fully booked.

Civil aerospace continues to grow and defence markets are expanding too. Yet the aerospace industry continues to face serious challenges related to increasing its production rates, supply chain bottlenecks and resource constraints, assuring resilience and managing risks. How can we in the Midlands work together collaboratively to work through some of these challenges and make our supply chains perform more efficiently so our companies and people can benefit from the growth opportunities?

  • This was a major theme at the March 2025 MAA Annual Conference.
  • In May 2025, the MAA and the national Aerospace Growth Partnership Manufacturing Supply Chain Working Group (AGP MSCWG) held a joint roundtable discussion, also at Gowling in Birmingham.
  • We presented initial findings from AGP MSCWG research at the MAA AGM in November 2025 held at Space Park Leicester.
  • The MAA Board and MAA Supply Chain Performance Group have endorsed us continuing to understand the underlying issues and come up with plans to address them.

Join the team for this special MAA Members Meeting that will take this work to the next step . . .
