Brought to you by MAA and University of Nottingham
The key recommendation of the MAA report on regional space clusters was the establishment of a Midlands Space Cluster. The MAA is working in partnership inter alia with the Midlands Innovation Group (A strategic research partnership of eight Midlands-based universities: Aston University, University of Birmingham, Cranfield University, Keele University, University of Leicester, Loughborough University, University of Nottingham, University of Warwick) to establish this cluster.
Linked to this activity, did you know that the Aerospace Unlocking Potential programme can help you engage with the region’s existing centres of excellence to understand how their collective world-leading expertise can help your manufacturing business?
A launch venture is the opportunity to visit the University of Leicester Space Park on the afternoon of the 6 September.
The outline agenda is as follows:
12:00 - Registration, networking and lunch (lunch is provided)
13:00 - Tour of facilities
14:00 - Cosmic Coffee – networking session with key personnel
15:00 - Q&A with Space Park Leicester, ESA Business Incubation Centre and SPRINT – the latter two organisations having existing business opportunities
16:00 - Close
Space is limited to 30 places, so please book asap. Maximum of two delegates per company.
