The Midlands Aerospace Alliance and Santander are working together to support MAA members to develop international trade.
This "virtual trade mission" will review the Connecticut aerospace industry and business opportunities there for Midlands companies.
As well as major aerospace sites for Pratt & Whitney, UTC Aerospace Systems and Sikorsky, the state is home to a major cluster of aerospace suppliers. According to the MAA's sister organisation in Connecticut, "Aerospace Component Manufacturers" (which has more than 110 specialist aeospace manufacturing members):
For generations, leading aerospace components manufacturers have been concentrated in Connecticut and southwestern Massachusetts. Today, this region of America, Aerospace Alley!®, has third and fourth generation aerospace machinists and toolmakers. (see www.aerospacecomponents.org)
The MAA's Business Development Group and Santander are planning a real trade mission for November 2018.
More information and booking form for the July "virtual trade mission" to follow soon.
This event will be free for MAA member organisations and cost £40 for members of our aerospace partners AWF, ADS, FAC, NWAA and WEAF, and £80 for non-members.
